Trevor Dunn was born in 1968 behind the Redwood Curtain in The Emerald Triangle traversing a fine line between hippies and rednecks. His first instrument was the clarinet and he began to focus on the electric bass at age 13. Four years later he co-founded the avant-rock band Mr. Bungle. In 1990 he received a BA in music from Humboldt State where he performed Koussevitsky's Concerto for Double Bass with the HSO. In 2001 he was commissioned by the Elaine Kaufman Cultural Center to write a solo bass piece for Jon Deak. Mr. Deak performed "Depaysemant" for prepared contrabass later that year at Merkin Hall, Lincoln Center. Currently Dunn lives in Brooklyn, NY and can be heard on over 80 recordings including a disc of original film music entitled Four Films (Tzadik). Recent projects include his rock band MadLove, the quartet PROOF Readers which plays the music of Ornette Coleman as well as The Nels Cline Singers and a new, original quartet Endangered Blood. He continues to perform with John Zorn's Electric Masada, Erik Friedlander's Broken Arm Trio, Curtis Hasslebring's New Mellow Edwards and occasional appearances with Andrew D'Angelo and John Hollenbeck's Claudia Quintet.

Travis Laplante is a powerful new voice in New York City’s experimental music scene, and has toured extensively with his band Little Women, whose acclaimed full-length debut was recently released on AUM Fidelity Records; with his trio, which features bassist Michael Formanek and drummer Gerald Cleaver; and with under- ground experimental rock bands Extra Life and Skeletons. Laplante has also worked with Anthony Braxton, Mark Dresser, Mat Maneri, Trevor Dunn, and many other luminaries of improvised music.

Laplante’s debut album, 'Heart Protector', features original music for solo tenor saxophone. 'Heart Protector', the first vinyl release on Skirl Records was recorded by Laplante himself and Ryan Power at the Big Barn in Putney, Vermont. The music itself was largely inspired by the heart protector, Laplante’s term for the pericardial sac that surrounds the heart."

Local improvising trio Thicket is Ben Kates, John Niekrasz (Why I Must Be Careful) and Brian Mumford (Grandfather Claws). Ben Kates is a saxophonist who moved to Portland in 2006 where he has played in the groups Fly! Fly! Fly! Fly! Fly!, the Naked Future, Barges, and Thicket. He has played with John Gruntfest, Gino Robair, Tatsuya Nakatani, Wally Shoup, Urs Leimgruber, John Weise and Smegma among others. John is a drummer and composer originally from Chicago. He earned his MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and has studied drum set with Hamid Drake, James Dreier, Dean Radzik, and Tatsuya Nakatani. John lived in Cuba and India where he studied Afro-Cuban percussion and classical Hindustani tabla, respectively. He performs with and composes for ensembles such as Why I Must Be Careful, Sporting, and Poor School.You may have seen Brian Mumford in Jackie O Motherf**cker or Dragging an Ox Through Water..

Portland's U Sco consists of Ryan Miller (Guitar), Jon Scheid (Bass), and Phil Cleary (Drumset). Equal parts experimental, avant-rock, kraut, and pysch influenced - the trio crafts a sound that is tragically complex, aggressive, and explosive. Members of With Eyes Abstract, Duck. Little Brother, Duck! and The Jezebel Spirit.

Jewelry Rash is Brian Mumford's (Dragging and Ox Through Water, Jackie-O-Motherfucker, Sunfoot) wildly divergent solo noise electronics set propelled primarily by his homemade oscillators. Ben Kates is a saxophonist originally from Massachusetts where he first started pla...ying saxophone in the 4th grade. Kates lived in New York City for ten years where he played in hardcore punk bands and the improvising duo Fire&Flux. He moved to Portland in 2006 where he has played in the groups Fly! Fly! Fly! Fly! Fly!, the Naked Future, Barges, Always Assuming Homo Sapiens Avoid Destruction, as well as in a longstanding collaboration with John Niekrasz and Brian Mumford called Thicket. He has played with John Gruntfest, Gino Robair, Tatsuya Nakatani, Wally Shoup, Urs Leimgruber, John Weise and Smegma among others. In addition to being a musician, Kates works with students with emotional and behavioral disorders and sits on the boards of the Creative Music Guild and the Independent Publishing Resource Center.

The Outset Series (a project co-produced by Revival and the Creative Music Guild) is Portland's only recurring event for creative, improvised music. This series at Revival Drum Shop actively presents experimental, avant-garde, and creative improvised music in a unique setting. We aim to provide musicians of diverse approaches within the genres of electronic, improvised, free jazz, and experimental new music with a regular performance opportunity while fostering a community in Portland that supports this music. The performances are scheduled the first and third Wednesday night of each month at 8pm. There is a suggested donation of 5 dollars requested, all of which goes to the performers.

The Creative Music Guild, in conjunction with the grand opening of new arts venue The Alice Coltrance Memorial Coliseum, is proud to present a night of innovative music by Matt Ingalls, Sam Coomes, Mitchell Brown, and The Tenses. These acclaimed musicians from divergent but complementary aesthetic backgrounds will traverse varied musical realms in this rare performance.

Sam Coomes (Portland) is a talented multi-instrumentalist who plays in experimental bands Quasi and Pink Mountain and has performed and recorded with Elliot Smith, Sleater-Kinney, Built to Spill, and Heatmiser.

Matt Ingalls (SF) is a master clarinetist and composer whose solo improvisations explore extended clarinet techniques that interact with the acoustic space. Ingalls has worked with Anthony Braxton, John Butcher, Meredith Monk, Pauline Oliveros and many others. The music press has responded,

He has performed and/or recorded analog electronic and/or electro-acoustic music with: Joseph Hammer, Rick Potts, Joe Potts, Damian Bisciglia, Trevor Wishart, Tom Recchion, Petra Haden, Leticia Castaneda, Jeremy Drake, John Weise, Ezra Buchla, Lionel Marchetti, Jerome Noetinger, Space Machine, Points of Friction, and Thomas Dimuzio among others.

The Creative Music Guild is proud to present an evening of world-class improvised music by Jack Wright (sax), Gust Burns (piano), and Mark Kaylor (drums) performing in trio.

Jack Wright is a living legend; a master saxophonist from Philadelphia who has been playing improvised music exclusively since the 1970s. "Raw, visceral, urgent, his music demands to be heard" (The Wire). "The saxophonist Jack Wright remains the most indispensable musician of his generation. A true catalyst of energy, [...] he is still the reference par excellence for all the generations who have followed" (Jazzosphere no. 19).

Gust Burns is a ground-breaking pianist and composer from Seattle where he performs with a wide swath of contemporary avant musicians, teaches, and directs the Seattle Improvised Music Festival. Portland's own Mark Kaylor is a sensitive and visionary improvisor on drums. He performs with Hammer of Hathor, Kinetic Harpoon, and many of Portland's musical stalwarts.

For this Portland performance, the audience will be treated to one stellar set by Wright, Burns, and Kaylor followed by two shorter sets featuring Portland musicians hand-picked by Wright and Burns including Tim DuRoche (drums), Heather Vergotis (sax, guitar), and John Niekrasz (drums).

THE EVENT

Remembrance and Creation is a double bill that explores the contrasting traditions in duet performance of the romantic period and avant-garde improvised jazz.

The evening will open with cellist James Waldo performing works for cello and piano accompaniment by Johannes Brahms and Frederic Chopin, giants of the romantic tradition of the 19th century. Following that will be a fully improvised free-jazz set in the Chicago tradition, featuring the duo of saxophonist Josh Beatty and drummer Anthony Poretti.

Cellist James Waldo has achieved distinction as a concert soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Currently residing in New York City, Waldo recently received his Masters of Music degree from Mannes College, The New School for Music, where he studied with Timothy Eddy. Waldo served as principal cellist for the Mannes Orchestra and Opera from 2008-10, and has participated in numerous chamber music series around New York City, including performances at Carnegie Recital Hall, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Pierpont Morgan Library, La Poisson Rouge, and the New York Historical Society. Selected awards and prizes include: finalist in the Mannes Concerto Competition; winner of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Concerto Competition; and winner of the Menomonee Falls Concerto Competition in Wisconsin. Waldo last performed at the Old Church in July 2009, and is returning to the city for several performances with Spirits of the Red City, a national touring orchestral folk ensemble he has collaborated with since the group's formation in 2008.

Anthony Poretti (drums) and Josh Beatty (saxophones) are two up-and-coming improvisers on the Chicago experimental music scene. They began working together in 2009, and the collaboration was immediately intense, energetic and spontaneous, with unexpected twists and turns of ideas. Enticed by the power and flexibility of the collaboration, Poretti and Beatty decided to form a working duo to explore the sonic possibilities it had to offer. The duo has developed an aesthetic and dynamic concept informed equally by post-bop jazz and twentieth-century classical music.

Beatty, originally from Seaside, Oregon, is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University. He moved to Chicago in 1999 and is active in the free jazz, improvisational and experimental music scene. Poretti, originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, relocated to Chicago in 2009 between national tours with the chamber folk orchestra Spirits of the Red City, and performs with several avant-garde ensembles in the city.

Last month was very nice, so much so that we're gonna start doing this event twice a month (2nd/last Wed.)

Basically what happens is Kelvin and I (Kinetic Harpoon) play a short opening set and then after a break there are ad-hoc combinations with anyone who has brought an instrument to play.

Open to all, just don't bring a half stack and expect to play.

Please come, starts after 7:00 (we wait until there's enough people there, so show up on time and more music can happen), its all over by 10.

Multi-instrumentalist Vinny Golia is one of the most influential creative musicians on the West Coast. As a composer, he fuses the rich heritage of Jazz, contemporary classical and world music into his own unique compositions. As a bandleader, Vinny has presented his music to audiences in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Japan and the United States in ensembles varying dramatically in size and instrumentation. He has won numerous awards as a composer, including grants from the National Endowment of the Arts, The Lila Wallace Program, The California Arts Council, Meet the Composer, and the American Composers Forum.

Rich Halley is a saxophonist and composer based on Oregon. His 11 recordings as a leader have been critically acclaimed in the jazz press, and his groups have performed at concerts, festivals and clubs in the U.S. and Canada. Andrew Hayleck is an electro-acoustic musician who lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He uses a Paia modular synthesizer, contact microphone, mixer, and two raw speakers in improvisation, utilizing the feedback and resonance characteristics of a variety of materials. He is presently building a camera obscura and documenting the slow changes of light within. Recordings include: "Two Gong/Wire Pieces" (Ehse), "Gong/Wire" (Earlids), "Various Recordings Involving Ice" (HereSee), and "The Disappearing Floor" (Recorded).

Tyler Wilcox

Born in 1979 in silver spring maryland, raised in and around baltimore. Began composing glacial drone based tape music in 2001. Switched to reeds in 2003 with a desire to embody fleeting sound phenomena. Moved to Washington state in 2005 to experience wild nature in the cascades. Experiencing true silence and the white noise of nature slowed and opened his music. Current collaborators Gust Burns, Jeffrey Allport, Kelvin PIttman, Paul Neidhardt, Mara Sedlins, Wilson Shook, and Mark collins.

From Baltimore-percussion, friction Baltimore's Paul Neidhardt is one of the countries most astonishing new music percussionists. A trained, highly disciplined player with a flair for complex textural sound produced by friction, Neidhardt's approach to improvising covers the majority of the terrain explored by the explosive side of European free music and subtle textural players like Sean Meehan and Jason Kahn, while retaining a freshness and flexibility of purpose all his own. His background playing rock and African music adds a potential for propulsive intesnivty to his playing not usually found in players so skilled in the arts of minimalist reductionism. Despite recovering from injuries that limited his time playing in recent years, he is a highly in-demand player, working with groups like Trokeneis, Death in the Maze, and Multiphonic Choir, as well as frequent collaborations with Jack Wright. He is currently a member of the Red Room collective and High Zero Foundation.

Saxophonist and composer Rich Halley and The Outside Music Ensemble will perform original rhythm-based jazz at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, on top of Powell Butte. This concert is part of the Portland Parks & Recreation Summer Concert Series, and admission is FREE for listeners who walk to the top of the butte.

“Music for Powell Butte – Sounds under the Sky” is a unique experience that appeals to both music fans and to those who want to spend a summer evening in a beautiful natural setting on top of a volcanic butte surrounded by snowcapped peaks.

The Outside Music Ensemble is an all-star group featuring musicians from up and down the West Coast. It includes: Rich Halley, tenor sax; Michael Vlatkovich, trombone; Jim Knodle, trumpet; Troy Grugett, alto sax; Dave Storrs, percussion; and Carson Halley, percussion. The music will consist of original compositions by Rich Halley. Sponsors include the Portland Water Bureau, Penofin and the Creative Music Guild.

Jacob Wick was born near Chicago, IL in 1985. An “edgy, fiercely smart
improviser” (Philadelphia Weekly), who Downbeat calls “exciting and
curious,” his playing has been described as everything from “inhuman”
(Chicago Reader) to “a Shakespeare soliloquy” (allaboutjazz.com). He has
so far released two CDs: the first, an entirely improvised duo CD with
drummer Andrew Greenwald (37:55 [2008]– Creative Sources); the second,
with a collaborative trio White Rocket (White Rocket [2009]– on Diatribe).
As a composer, performer, and improviser, his goal is not necessarily to
cross boundaries, but rather to inhabit and exploit them. To this end, he
leads or co-leads several groups, all exploring the soft tissue that binds
genres, forms, and practices: A Mown Lawn, a chamber group exploring
non-narrative song; even though you’re only 9, locating the intersection
of folk forms and loosely composed improvisation; White Rocket, a
cross-Atlantic trio wading through the mud between jazz, Karnatak music,
and contemporary classical composition; and a duo with percussionist
Andrew Greenwald, using textural improvisation to reduce the two
instruments into one. His sound sculptures mistletoe and rain, clouds have
been shown in Chicago (Heaven Gallery) and New York (Issue Project Room).
He has performed with dancer/choreographer Christine Elmo and performance
artists Amir Mogharabi and Eagle Ager, as well as musicians such as Andrew
D’Angelo, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Mark Turner, and Han Bennink. He currently

Wilson Shook is an improvising saxophonist living in Seattle, Washington.

Wilson’s music emphasizes focus, texture, chance and exploration.  It is
‘new music’ in that it explores each new moment and seeks to develop a
critical awareness of the present.

Sonically, Wilson's music is informed by lower case and minimalist
aesthetics, while embracing the full range of his instrument.  He is
especially interested in incidental or 'between' sounds: material that
exists on the edges and in the cracks of the conventional sonic palate.

As an artist and activist, Wilson is concerned with the actualization of
feminist and libertarian ethics.  Investigating the interplay between
artistic freedom and freedom at large, Wilson views improvisation as a
model of interaction that can inform diverse situations and relationships.

Wilson currently performs solo, as well as with the Gust Burns Quartet, 'A
Saxophone Quartet' (with Paul Hoskin, Kelvin Pittman and Tyler Wilcox),
bst.cr (with Ben Bennett and Ryan Jewell) and in various ad hoc and
piece-oriented collaborations.

Previous and continuing collaborators include: Gust Burns, Carol Genetti,
Bonnie Jones, Jack Wright, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Bob Marsh, Nate Wooley, Gino
Robair, Tyler Wilcox, Greg Kelley, Jaimie Branch, Jacob Wick, Jonathan

Bios:

Tatsuya Nakatani, originally from Osaka, Japan, is a contemporary improvising percussionist. Nakatani has created his own instrumentation, effectively inventing many instruments and extended techniques. He utilizes drumset, large bowed gongs, cymbals, singing bowls, metal objects, bells, and various sticks and bows to create an intense, organic music that defies category or genre. His music is based in experiment and improvisation, jazz, free jazz, rock, and noise, yet retains the sense of space and beauty found in traditional Japanese folk music.

In his ecstatic performances, Nakatani erects and then dismantles unique sonic realms that are at once focused and expansive, consuming and liberating. Nakatani has performed or recorded with some of the great improvising musicians of the last 20 years including Ken Vandermark, Peter Brotzmann, Joe McPhee, Mary Halvorson, Reuben Radding, and the late Peter Kowald.  In addition to live solo and ensemble performances Nakatani works as a sound designer for film and television and teaches Masterclasses and Workshops at the University level. He also heads H&H Production, an independent record label and recording studio based in Easton, Pennsylvania. He was selected as a performing artist for the Pennsylvania Performing Artist on Tour (PennPat) roster as well as a Bronx Arts Council Individual Artist grant.

Seth Olinsky is a guitarist, vocalist, composer and core member of acclaimed experimental rock group Akron/Family. He has conducted Rhys Chatham's guitar piece at Lincoln Center two years running. Olinsky has recorded with master free jazz drummer Hamid Drake, William Parker, and continues to perform and record with many notable musicians.

Saxophonist and composer Jacob Zimmerman (b.1986) studied at the renowned Garfield High School in Seattle, and the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he received a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Saxophone Performance. Dominic Duval is a legendary free jazz musician based in NYC and one
of the most recorded bassists working today. Active for 30 + years at
the forefront of improvisation he spent 10 years working with the
great piano genius Cecil Taylor. This is an extremely rare West Coast
appearance for Duval.

Dana Reason teaches at Oregon State University and is the Founder
and Director of the Between the Cracks: A Forum for Music, Arts,
Science and Ideas, a cross-disciplinary initiative designed to foster
a new community centered in creative, critical and cross-cultural
exchange. She’s worked an extensive array of some of contemporary
music’s finest innovators.

Tim DuRoche is a composer, jazz musician and artist who’s worked with
an extensive array of US and European avant-garde jazz greats
(including Frank Gratkowski, Perry Robinson, Toshi Makihara, Lisle
Ellis and Paul Plimley) as well as with Beijing Opera musicians,
Russian circus clowns, auctioneers, blues legends, performance poets,
and as a composer of live soundtracks for classic silent film. His
recent work has included collaborations with dance artists including
Tere Mathern Dance, Oslund+Co., BodyVox, Cydney Wilkes, and Linda K.
Johnson.

Bhob Rainey > composer, saxophonist, electronic musician

Bhob Rainey's music has become a model in the world of experimental
sound. He is the founder of both nmperign (with trumpeter Greg
Kelley) and the BSC, which he also directs. Collaborations with
musicians such as Ralf Wehowsky, Le Quan Ninh, Gunter Mueller, and
Lionel Marchetti, dancers Nicole Bindler and Yukiko Nakamura, and
filmmakers Loren Boyer, Harvey Benschoter, and William Pisarri
highlight Rainey's broad experience and outline a complex body of work
that continues to expand and surprise. His music occupies a charged
space between synthetic and organic sound, bringing forth improbable
sensual and narrative experiences through virtuosic extended
techniques, homemade synths and sound processors, found recordings,
and a kind of living silence that is apt to wreak havoc with the
perception of time.

Recordings of Rainey's music have been released on labels such as
Selektion, Grob, Sedimental, Rossbin, Twisted Village, and Siwa. They
number in the dozens and have garnered a wealth of international
accolades. Festival appearances have included Musique Action, Instal,
Amplify, Densites, Fruits d'Mhere, High Zero, and Improvised and
Otherwise.

Rainey has also performed the works of Christian Wolff (with the
composer), John Cage, and Cornelius Cardew and is the orchestral
arranger for pop artists Damon and Naomi.

PDX LARGE ENSEMBLE is a new collaborative effort from a community of Portland area improvising/jazz/avant/noise musicians (Mary Sutton, John Savage, Tim DuRoche, Mary-Sue Tobin, Jonathan Sielaff, Todd Dickerson, Kevin Van Geem, Gregg Skloff, Brandon Conway, J Morales and more. The group will feature avant compositions, free improvisation and work with touring avant musicians as a residential “house” ensemble. The concerts will be sponsored by the CMG (Creative Music Guild) and take place on bi monthly basis. The initial group was part of a concert in June with Urs Leimgruber (also CMG sponsored).

Since arriving in Seattle in the mid- nineties, Bill has established himself as a highly regarded performer, composer and improviser. He has appeared on over 50 releases and has performed hundreds of concert around the world. In addition to his solo endeavors and work with bands Master Musicians of Bukkake, the Paul Rucker Ensemble and Ghidra to name a few, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists including John Zorn, Secret Chiefs 3, Ruins, Bill Frisell, KK Null, Vidushi Sumitra Guha, Kinski and Aiko Shimada among many others.

(b.1964, Vejle, Denmark)
Composer, electronic musician, improviser. Active in the experimental fields of electronic music, soundart, improvisation and contemporary composition. Former trombonist, now focusing on electronic music, laptop pioneer on the danish experimental scene. Today Jakob Riis is primarily making electronic, noise and electroacoustic music, often making solo laptop prefomances, improvising within open structures. As a composer he has composed music for bigband, chamber ensembles as well as electronic and electro acoustic music, for ensembles like Copenhagen Art Ensemble, The Orchestra and The Ghettoblaster Ensemble. As an improviser he is playing with people like Axel Dörner, Jassem Hindi, Philipp Wachsmann, Peter Ole Jørgensen, Mats Gustafsson, Pål Nilssen-Love, Lotte Anker a.o. Studied trombone at the Rhythmic Conservatory (RMC) in Copenhagen, where he graduated in 1990. In 97-99 he studied composition with Bob Brookmeyer at RMC.

But there's plenty more to enjoy than displays of heroic strength. This band, with bassist Wilbert de Joode and drummer Martin van Duynhoven shows open forms, varied improvisational strategies, wacky use of juxtaposition, and an unwillingness to treat jazz—or any music—as a fixed art form. Kai Fageshinski (Los Glissandinos, The Magic I.D., etc.) and Michael
Theilke (Unununium, The Magic I.D., etc.) are members of Berlin's
vibrant echtzeitmusik scene. The International Nothing (*2000) is
their hardest working project of the last years. They are working
exclusively on compositions (no improv), where both instruments melt
into one sound, which sometimes sounds like more than two instruments
through the extended use of multiphonics and difference tones. Their
pieces have a delicate and slowed down quality and celebrate a unique
and timeless beauty. They will present a collection of pieces
developed between 2003 and 2009.

Three musicians from disparate schools of improvisation come together for a night of inspired music. Christine Sehnaoui, an alto saxophonist, is a rising star of the European free jazz scene and a leading figure in the burgeoning improv scene in Beirut, Lebannon. Acclaimed drummer Andrew Drury lives in Brooklyn and has collaborated with Nate Wooley, Jack Wright, Steve Swell and Ruben Radding, among others. Greg Kelley is a trumpeter from Boston who plays in Nmperign.

This concert is presented in partnership with the 2009 PDX Jazz Festival.

About the Musicians:

Christine Sehnaoui is a Lebanese alto saxophonist who has been performing in Paris to great acclaim in recent years. Her main musical partners are Stéphane Rives, Quentin Dubost, Agnès Palier, Sebastien Bouhana and Mazen Kerbaj. She organizes the annual Irtijal Festival in Lebbanon for improvised music. She has also played with Le Quan Ninh, Mats Gustaffsson, Paul Flaherty, Daniel Carter, Wilbert deJoode and many, many more. Andrew Drury is a Brooklyn based percussionist who has appeared on over 25 CDs as well as given over 1000 workshops. Greg Kelley, a trumpet player in Boston, is perhaps best known for his collaboration with Bhob Rainey as Nmperign, a group that has recorded several well received CDs and collaborated with such musicians as Jason Lescalleet, Le Quan Ninh, Andrea Neumann and Axel Dorner. Better Homes & Gardens (Reed Wallsmith, Sly Pig, Tim DuRoche, and Bob Jones) will be performing Tuesday, February 3 at Valentines (232 SW Ankeny Street in Portland) along with Oakland’s Painted Cakes and Portland’s own Bird Costumes. Music at 9 pm.

On the menu: Free Improvisation for a Brave New World. Shades and flavors recalling revolutionary jazz from the nostalgic era of late-60s Vietnam escalation, when fire, beauty, freedom and raw story-telling was a powerful currency in film, popular music and on the street and jazz was still a threat to the Man. Ah the good old days.

John Wiese is an artist and composer from Los Angeles, California. His ongoing projects include LHD and Sissy Spacek, with plenty of freelance work with many artists as diverse as Sunn O))), Wolf Eyes, Merzbow, Dave Phillips, Smegma, Kevin Drumm, Cattle Decapitation, and C. Spencer Yeh (Burning Star Core). He has toured extensively throughout the world, covering Europe, Scandinavia and Australia as a member of Sunn O))), the UK as part of the Free Noise tour (a tentet including Evan Parker, C. Spencer Yeh, Yellow Swans, etc.), the United States alongside Wolf Eyes, and recently performed in the 52nd Venice Biennale with artist Nico Vascellari.
